This artwork is an infusion of the Bunun mythological elements. It features both Bunun warrior and hunter tribute to the moon on both sides with Light and millet respectively signifying the force and abundance of life. Let’s not forget the divine animals that assist the Bunun toward their spiritual path. Among them two ladies perform traditional ceremonial dance under the moon drawing the divine coiled DNA energy that relays the wisdom of forefathers to next generation. This is the unity of Ying and Yang, a harmonious state of life.

聖鳥紅嘴黑鵯(Haipis)似在端倪觀者並傳遞火種的暖燄。蜥蜴是神話中的射日起因，百步蛇好友讓我們記得與大自然的對話。祭祀用的布農曆表，以上升的、三D感的方塊結構微宇宙。透過的表達，讓傳統在心中生根，是穩定的信仰中心，像是與宇宙大地共舞共美。
Ancient Bunun people understood the language of Nature and learned how to tango with her energetic movement in the microcosm-to-macrocosm stage. The distinct Bunun 3D lunar calendar boxes mirroring the ascending cubic atom as uniting to the Source once again re-connect to the co-creator role within while the sacred Bulbul Bird seems to look through viewers eyes with warmth and vibes.

我背起往日的舊念，坐在漫長的旅途

這是依法兒離家千海哩外的心境中，思鄉的過往與根的所在，也許身不由己但如黑夜白天般，是一種宇宙法則的循環，相互定義的秘語，不曾分離的一體兩面。
Not long ago, the moon light remains in the winding greenish path by the blue jade mountain
that carry on shining,
that the ancients rediscover their way.
Packed with nostalgia, I sit on a timeless journey
Beyond the peak, there is the moon.
This work depicts Eval’s contemplation of being away from her roots. Yet as the day and night, instead of separateness, they define each other as a whole without such illusion.
